Acme Screws and Nuts
Joyce/Dayton offers Acme 2C and Stub Acme screw and nut assemblies in a variety of screw leads and in diameters ranging from 5/8 inch up to 6 inches. Bronze nuts and steel flanges are available for each screw size. Complete assemblies include bearing blocks and finished machining on screw ends. Custom end machining is available.

Joyce MA2547, MA3527, MA4514, and MA7007, multipurpose linear actuators are compact, versatile and designed to lift 7000N (1574 pounds) dynamic load, and 13,600N (3057 pounds) static load. Each 120 VDC actuator is equipped with a potentiometer and adjustable, preset limit switches, and offers an IP65 rating that qualifies them for many wash-down and outdoor duty applications.

Joyce miter gear boxes are specifically engineered for use with Joyce jacks and Actuators in multiple jack systems. Miter gear boxes used in systems effectively raise unevenly distributed loads. All standard miter boxes are available in 1:1 and 2:1 ratios; other ratios are available in the RC series. Four shaft units are also available in RC-18 through RC-38 and MKA series.

Joyce MKA miter gear boxes are specifically engineered for use with Joyce jacks and actuators in multiple jack systems. These heavy-duty miter gearboxes are rated for 3,000 inch-pounds torque @ 100 RPM. They feature ductile housings, and steel input and pinion shafts. Standard miter boxes are 1:1 ratio, but other ratios are available. MKA gear box housings feature flanged base mounts which differ from the RC series gear boxes.

Joyce RC-18, RC-38, RC-99, and RC-204 miter gearboxes are specifically engineered for use with Joyce jacks and actuators in multiple jack systems. These heavy-duty miter gearboxes are rated for 2154 through 29,035 inch-pounds torque @ 100 RPM. They feature ductile or grey iron housings, and steel input and pinion shafts. Standard miter boxes are 1:1 and 2:1 ratios, but other ratios are available.

Joyce RC-15 miter gearboxes are specifically engineered for use with Joyce jacks and actuators in multiple jack systems. These intermediate sized miter gear boxes are rated for 357 inch-pounds torque @ 100 RPM. Each requires 6 ounces of EP-90 gear oil for normal operation. They feature aluminum housings, stainless steel input shafts and nickel-plated pinion shafts. Standard miter boxes are available in 1:1 and 2:1 ratios, but other ratios are available.

Upright or inverted, these jacks operate at full capacity in tension or in compression and are available in Translating and KFTN Designs.
